Summer re-cap

Since summer is almost officially over, I thought I would do a little re-cap of all the fun we've had while the weather was nice.

We planted a garden!  It was a little bit tricky and we had to do the actual planting inside because I was worried if we did it outside on our deck, half of our dirt would end up on our landlady's deck!  They had so much fun with the dirt and planting the seeds and they have been watching the plants grow all summer.  So far they have been able to pick and eat strawberries and peas and soon we will have bell peppers and tomatoes!

We got the boys new bunk beds!  They LOVE them and use them for playing as well as sleeping.

Even though they love having their own beds, sometimes they crawl into the same one and fall asleep together.  They are way too cute!

We spent a lot of time down by the river this summer.  Here is Teagan just chillin.

And Dylan too.

Teagan learned how to shoot the water gun and he was ecstatic!

Dylan is obsessed with trucks and mud!

Let's not forget about the video games...the boys have a wii and they love to play Mario!

We took the boys to see grandma, grandpa and Aunt Sarah.  They had so much fun, and they got to ride a horse! I think Teagan had fun, but he just sat there and picked his nose.  No joke I even have it on video!

Dylan had a blast!  He just kept saying "faster, faster!"

Dylan took swim lessons this summer!

Dylan says that he LOVED his swim lessons!  He did so well and we are so proud of him!  He graduated pee wee and completed two weeks of level one!

Teagan had fun too...he played with the water on the side and in the shallow end of the pool.

We went to Cat Tales... the boys love to see all the animals but the lion was there favorite.

Also this summer, we did A LOT OF HIKING!!!!! Here are a couple cute pictures.

Dylan got a new bike and learned to ride it...with the training wheals ;) Look at that grin!

He was so sweet to share with Teagan, although later we got Teagan a little tricycle.

Let's not forget about the fishing!

They caught two fish!!!

Well this is probably the world's longest blog, but I wanted to catch everybody up on what's happening with us.  (And it was fun to go back over all the pictures!)
We have had such a fun summer and Joey and I feel so lucky to have these two cute little boys!

Just starting out

We decided to start a family blog. It’s a little bit rusty right now, I need to figure out how everything is done! But I think this will be fun! To start off I’m just going to post a picture of our family...it is in no way the best one, I will post a better one when I find one!  I have two restless boys and it can be hard to get them to hold still for any period of time;)
